Since November 2013, Rockpool Consulting has also worked with Qantas and the Pullman group to provide menus within all Qantas Chairmans and Business Lounges around the country. Within the Chairmans lounges, guests enjoy a full a la carte dining experience in addition to the buffet dining option. At the business Lounges, guests enjoy an extensive choice of dishes at the buffet as well as the ‘plate of the day’. Dining extends from breakfast throughout the afternoon and through to dinner. There are additional options at the buffet of our Hero Salads where the chef will mix your salad fresh before your eyes; or ‘The Diner’ – delicious snacks such as pulled pork burgers on brioche buns, gourmet hot dogs, freshly made tacos and more aimed at hungry late afternoon travellers.

International Lounges

Qantas First Sydney lounge

Prior to boarding their flight, the majority of our First passengers will spend time in the lounge. The Sydney First Lounge is a multi award-winning space, designed by Australian icon Marc Newson and with a full a la carte menu designed by Neil; the perfect spot to relax pre-flight. Dine in the restaurant area or at the bar, watching the chefs in action across the open kitchen.

Qantas Singapore Lounge

The Qantas Singapore Lounge interior reflects the very heart of Singapore, a vibrant and chic space that celebrates the local environment in much the same way as the food. Customers can enjoy a range of exclusive food offerings including Spice Temple-inspired dishes, daily plates featuring local dishes, a live cooking station, extensive self-service option and bar with snacks and signature Spice Temple cocktails. The enhanced food offering complements our international Business Sleep Service, which offers customers the flexibility to choose when they want to dine. If our customers prefer to eat on the ground, they have the option to go straight to sleep on late night departures.

Qantas Hong Kong Lounge

The Qantas Hong Kong Lounge builds on the success of the Qantas Singapore Lounge, with Neil once again designing menus based on both Rockpool and Spice Temple, featuring local flavours and ingredients and traditional, regional dishes. Customers are able to enjoy a range of dining experiences, from the Spice Temple BBQ Bar to yum cha trolleys, an extensive buffet and the Hong Kong plate of the day. Spice Temple inspired cocktails are prepared alongside a world-class wine selection and barista service, to be enjoyed at the bar area with panoramic views across the airport overlooking Qantas gates.
